Kim is a native of Lumberton, NC but grew up traveling all over the country for soccer. After committing to play D1 soccer at UNC-Chapel Hill at a young age and suffering through injuries of her own, she finished her soccer career at UNC-Wilmington with multiple awards for academic and athletic success. While in Wilmington, her passion for injury prevention and health and wellness pushed her to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from UNC-Wilmington, her education continued at Campbell University where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. Kim has always been interested in injury prevention and sports performance, which has led her to receive certifications in Functional Movement Screening, Y-balance testing, Graston Techniques, and RockTape. Her ultimate goal is to portray her passion and optimism for rehabilitation to every single one of her patients while helping them reach the goals they've set out for themselves.
